Hello! My name is Marco Aguirre, and I founded 4 Blocks Design, a DFW-based small business offering design and consultation services for projects of any size. Before launching 4 Blocks Design, I worked as a graphic designer, web designer, junior architect, building consultant, UI/UX researcher & designer, and product manager in the architecture, construction, and B2B tech startup industries. In January 2023, I left my role as the Product Director of a Series-B Tech Startup to begin my own company and transfer my expertise and skills into a self-directed career as an independent designer, consultant, and project manager.

Since switching to contract-based roles, I have worked with over a dozen brands and startups across the country to develop visual identities, new product offerings, and key business-growing assets. Projects have included designing logos, signage, branding guidelines, ebooks, lookbooks, websites, and UI/UX Prototypes.  Consultation has also become a large part of the business, including working with business owners to develop effective marketing strategies and overhauling stagnant brands, products, services, websites, and business proposals.

 

Clients with passion projects are also a priority. I have worked with many individuals looking to create unique graphics that mark personal milestones and celebrations, helped content creators upscale their personal brand, and aided in the development of books, articles, blogs, and podcasts. Design-wise, I feel anything is possible; whether you have a specific idea or don't know what you want, I am here to help.

My goal with 4 Blocks Design is to have a vehicle for clients to work closely with a designer, understand the research and design process, and walk away satisfied with a clear and appealing direction.
