Overview:
Papaya Homes is a luxury modular home developer that offers a wide range of housing options for individuals seeking precision-engineered luxury. Unlike other modular home developers, Papaya Homes uses the highest-quality materials to build architecture that is both cost-effective and environmentally conscious. From employing steel construction to entirely customizable interior and exterior finishes and fixtures, Papaya Home’s clients get a Home developer experience unlike any other. Having begun in single-family residential projects, Papaya Homes has now expanded to develop one-of-a-kind modular multifamily high-rises and workforce housing communities. To best serve their broadening clientele, Papaya Homes has partnered with 4 Blocks Design to create a branding for their new product offerings, services, and client-facing media.
Founder Corey Hanker had previously commissioned a logo but needed to expand the brand to align with a fresh new direction that included developing print media and launching a new website. The desire was for brand guidelines and assets that built on top of the existing logo and pine green color scheme. The end goal was to achieve a look that was effortlessly sleek and visually spacious, while also prioritizing sustainability and modern luxury living. The logo was updated to be more geometric and balanced, with thin lines and pointed edges. The font was switched to Montserrat for a clean, contemporary look. The color palette was expanded to include shades of the iconic pine green. Using various spacing, capitalization, and colorway combinations, we developed a guideline to ensure an easy-to-follow hierarchy across all brand documents and web pages.
After establishing the brand document, we work on creating Papaya Home’s first lookbook. The booklet would aim to educate new clients about the advantages of steel-frame modular design and a catalog of premade and customizable housing options. Since the first catalog, we have launched 7 more books, and the new website, which you can see in the link below.
